Youth Award
The Delaware Aviation Hall of Fame in 2001
established an annual Youth Achievement Award. It is given to
the young man or woman who has distinguished himself or herself
in aviation training, career development and participation in
community aviation activities.
Delaware youths age 15 though 21 who are
pursuing careers in aviation, in the air or on the ground,
are eligible. Non-resident youths enrolled in aviation training
programs in Delaware are also eligible.
Selection is determined by representatives of five
major aviation organizations in the First State: Air Force
Association, Civil Air Patrol, Delaware Pilots Association, Delaware
Ninety-Nines, and Delaware chapter 240 of the Experimental Aircraft
Association.
Nominations should not exceed two single spaced pages. Supporting
documents are welcome. Nominations, postmarked no later than
July 1 for the calendar year should be sent to:
