The Experimental Aircraft Association is dedicated to serving all of aviation by fostering and encouraging individual participation, high standards, and access to the world of flight in an environment that promotes freedom, safety, family and personal fulfillment. EAA Chapter 240, based at New Garden Flying Field N57, was formed in 1965 by a group of enthusiasts interested in homebuilt aircraft, restorations, and flying! This is an active chapter with monthly chapter meetings, a dedicated, purpose-built hangar and clubroom, and many special chapter events, including fly-ins, fly-outs, and our famous pancake breakfasts! EAA, the Experimental Aircraft Association, is a growing and diverse organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and backgrounds. EAA was founded in 1953 by a group of individuals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who were interested in building their own airplanes. Through the decades, the organization expanded its mission to include antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft, ultralights, helicopters and contemporary manufactured aircraft.

Wilmington Squadron Civil Air Patrol
We are law abiding citizens of the United States of America with a desire to develop aviation and the maintenance of aerospace supremacy. We are private citizens who encourage and voluntarily contribute to the public welfare. We are all volunteers, of at least 18 years of age. We believe in a training program for leadership, management, and functional tasks, so that we may serve our units, communities, and the nation. We are against discrimination and sexual harassment. We are here to meet local and national emergencies. We are the Senior Squadron of the Delaware Wing of the Civil Air Patrol.
