Instructions for Nominations
to Aviation Hall of Fame
Nominations to the Delaware Aviation Hall of Fame (DAHF) for consideration are now being accepted for induction. To date, 140 individuals have been enshrined, including 61 posthumously.
Eligibility for induction may encompass any aspect of aviation: in the air, on the ground (including air crew and service personnel), design, manufacture, maintenance, flight instruction, air traffic control, airport operations, aviation sales, promotion and education, civilian or military.
Criteria are:
*Outstanding contribution(s) to the advancement of aviation in Delaware
*Achievement in aviation bringing singular credit to the first state
*Gallantry in aviation by a Delawarean in service to state or country

NOTE: Use the PDF form if you plan to print it out and submit your nomination via USPS mail. Download the .doc version to your computer if you plan to fill out the form on your computer and submit it electronically as an attachment via email. We require contact information for both nominator and nominee: contact phone numbers, mailing addresses and e-mail addresses (if available). Supporting documents such as awards, citations, news articles and letters of commendation are welcome. Please make copies/ scans for submittal- do not send originals!
